Pi Alpha Alpha

PUBLIC AFFAIRS AND ADMINISTRATION

PI ALPHA ALPHA is  the national honor society formed to recognize and promote excellence in the study and practice of public affairs and administration. The purpose of Pi Alpha Alpha is to encourage and recognize outstanding scholarship and accomplishment in public affairs and administration. Its objectives, such as fostering integrity, professionalism, and effective performance, promote the advancement of quality in the education and practice of the art and science of public affairs and administration. 

Invitation to membership is extended to eligible undergraduate and graduate students. To be eligible, students must meet the following criteria: Undergraduates students must have completed at least 15 units of public administration coursework with a minimum 3.5 major GPA, and an overall GPA of at least 3.0. Graduate students must have completed 18 units of program coursework with a minimum GPA of 3.7. Students who are eligible will be contacted by the Pi Alpha Alpha faculty advisor. Members are inducted once a year in the spring.
